![]() ![]() The fact it can put up a fight makes it at least reasonably badass (With a rookie pilot, Jehuty treats Cyclops Orbital frames like jokes, and the Fist of Mars tactics game for GBA has those be nightmarish engines of destruction). Ken's mech is a boss in Zone of the Enders: The Second Runner, so we mostly only see how it compares to basic Jehuty outside of the vs mode. We don't have a ton of objective destruction feats for normal gears honestly, but hers obviously has some omph. Normal gears in-universe would be killed in one attack by those, she does manage to pretty much beat Fei until her conditioning wears off and she stops, and she does get stronger/more skilled/more powerful than that fight too. ![]() It's hard to get a fix on exactly how strong they are, but she's an elite soldier and a very crack shot. ![]() Her gear isn't even a power based one- it's main combat ability is Aerods, or basically Gundam Bits, remotely controlled beam guns. That's gotta be thousands of tons shifted, so engine-wise it's pretty gear. Elly's on her own manages to direct it further from the civilian areas before she runs out of power too. Three gears start pushing it out of the way, and nudge it some, but two overheat. There's a very large airship converted to a bomb and crashing into a city. That said, there is a good feat that shows how much power Elly in Vierge has. Elly only pulls out stuff like that when injured pretty much. Of note, the 'shutting down Ramsus's omnigear' was only when under duress (after she'd been squished some), and the destroying two elite henchmen was after she was in duress *and* in her omnigear. There are so many parts of the game where if you had that level of destructive power the plot would not happen. Destroying a *planet* is a cataclysmic amount of power in the game. Fei does not create and destroy entire galaxies with his spells. Considering Leo could later standoff Jehuty while in a Vic Viper, that shows just how much he's improved in the time between games. In the second game, however, Jehuty's being piloted by an ace, someone who really knows how to work a frame, accounting for the apparent power discrepancy. The difference, I realized later, is that in the first game, Jehuty's being piloted by a scared teenage kid who's letting the AI do the work. Speaking of ZOE, you'll notice that Jehuty is considerably more capable and powerful in the second game as opposed to the first, even though there's no indication of any modifications to the frame itself. So is understandable that Ken got a little panic, since computer stick is the only way to drive Orbital frame, and at that point, her computer drive is practically clean as new. And Viola practically possessing Ardjet, the fastest way to clean it is, for all computer users, you know it, by formatting the whole drive clean. But then, early in the game, in an easy to forget scene, Dingo Egret decides to use his frame without AI, then ADA decides to shows all the statistics he need to controls in the screen, at that point Dingo decides to give up (It also happens in the Anime of the Game Dolores, i, just to drive the point home). In Zone of the Enders: Anubis, despite being supposedly BAHRAM's ace fighter, Ken is accused as Faux Action Girl for cannot used her Orbital Frame, Ardjet without AI assistance.PAGES WILL BE DELETED OTHERWISE IF THEY ARE MISSING BASIC MARKUP.
